Sunrise
Another mind blowing sunrise from Gringo Perdido ... when you combine it with the bird song and breathing trees, its quite magical.
Hotel Gringo Perdido is a natural paradise located on the banks of magical Lake Peten Itza, within the Wildlife Reserve Biotopo Cerro Cahui, and just outside the gates of the sacred Mayan city of Tikal.
Gringo Perdido specializes in hosting groups of people for extended periods of time. We have worked extensively with student groups, family groups, spiritual groups and groups of volunteers (see Project Ix-canaan).
As part of our services, we can arrange for 1. All your transportation needs (airport service, Tikal, Yaxha and other Mayan sites, Actun Kan Caves, Flores, Zoo), 2. Ceremonial permissions for sacred sites 3. Mayan Sacred Fire Ceremonies led by Mayan Shamans 4. Mayan Medicine and Magic (rainforest herb-walk followed by in-home demonstration of Mayan healing by local midwife/curandera) 5. Tour of Project Ix-canaan 6. Jungle hike or horseback rides 7. Canopy Tour (a ride on cables through the jungle canopy)
